Milestar Tires Pacific Taco Run June 12-14 2026

A family friendly easy Baja trip

The focus is on tacos

 Friday, June 12

We meet early Friday morning in San Diego and cross into Mexico together, grabbing FMM tourist permits at the border before heading south.

From there, we jump on the toll road and cruise down the coast through Ensenada, making our first stop at Acámbaro a legendary Baja race pit stop packed with off-road history, memorabilia, and killer views. The tacos here are legit, and the margaritas don’t mess around.

Back on the road, we continue south to Santo Tomás, where we pick up a section of the Baja 500 racecourse. From there, we head west to the Pacific and begin working our way down the coastline.

We roll into Eréndira and stop at Coyote Cal’s for a relaxed break cold drinks, snacks, and a chance to soak in the Baja vibe.

From there, we hit the dirt again and head south along the coast where Yadira from Baja Desert meets us right on the beach with fresh tacos.

We continue along the racecourse until we reach the Pirate Bar, our home for the night. Sunset over the Pacific, margaritas in hand, and good company this is Baja done right

With some fun wheeling thrown in

🌊 Day 2 – Saturday: Coastal Trails, Dunes & Volcano Views

After coffee and breakfast, we head south and stay close to the ocean most of the day.

This is where the trip really shines long stretches of coastline, beach driving, and sections through sand dunes with the Pacific always in view.

We stop for lunch at one of our favorite spots along the cliffs waves crashing below, fresh seafood tacos in hand. It’s one of those places that’s hard to explain until you’re there.

From there, we continue through a national park area, passing volcanic landscapes and sweeping ocean views that remind you just how wild this place is.

By late afternoon, we roll into Don Eddie’s Landing, where we check into rooms or campsites.

Dinner is tacos in the cantina, followed by a night at Eddie’s bar great drinks, music, karaoke, and a solid Baja Saturday night with the crew.

🌅 Day 3 – Sunday: Northbound

Sunday morning, we pack up and begin the journey north.

It’s a relaxed return, giving everyone time to take it all in cool ocean air, dusty rigs, and a weekend full of good food, good trails, and even better memories.
