Coast to coast March 13-16, 2026

• We meet in Tecate early morning. After a quick drivers meeting we head out to the Compadre trail. Nice scenic easy run toward Ojos Negros. We hit highway down to Valle De Trinidad (Valley T) We enjoy Carne Asada tacos at the very famous taco shop. We hit dirt from there and run up to Mikes Sky Ranch, we have a cold beer get checked into our rooms maybe take a swim if the weather is nice have a steak dinner and some adult beverages, pace yourself tomorrow is the toughest day of the trip.

Day 2 is the toughest day on the trail. The 20 or so miles usually takes us about 4 hours. This trail will test you and your rig. We hit hill climbs, big washouts, big rocks, big drop ins and epic views all day. When you arrive at Meling Ranch you will be greeted with a cold beer and a hot meal, deservedly so. We check in and relax around the bonfire and bench race the night away.

We rise to breakfast and coffee at the ranch. We have a leisurely morning, then hit the trail down toward the Pacific Ocean. One of our favorite trails in Baja. This trail has it all, big views, slot canyons, hill climbs, river crossings, farmland, and small villages. We arrive that afternoon at the Pirate bar. We check in to our rooms then enjoy an afternoon margarita and relax for the remainder of the day. We enjoy a big dinner that night and reflect on the amazing adventure we have just had.

The sounds of the sea crashing on the rocks below will be your wake up call. Hot coffee and breakfast served. We enjoy he morning then mount up and hit the trail north along the ocean. We storm the beach and soak in the last bit of fun before it's back to reality.
